What is a Blockchain Explorer?
A blockchain explorer is a website or tool that lets you search and view all transactions, wallet addresses, blocks, tokens, and smart contracts on a blockchain.
Think of it like: A search engine + a public ledger.
Popular Explorers
What Can You Do With It?
- Check status of a transaction (pending or confirmed)
- See wallet balances and token holdings
- Read smart contract code
- Track token info (e.g. $FOFI)
- Monitor gas fees
How to Look Up a Transaction
- Go to an explorer like BscScan
- Paste a transaction hash (TXID) in the search bar
- Click and view full details: sender, receiver, fee, and time
Example Use Case
You send $FOFI to a friend. After clicking "Send" in your wallet, you copy the transaction hash and paste it into BscScan to verify that the transaction was successful.
